Congrats to John and Becky!

Buying and selling at the same time can feel like a balancing act — especially when it comes to contingent offers. There are so many moving parts on both sides of the sale, and timing is everything.

Our sellers, John and Becky, recently experienced this firsthand. They found their dream home before their current home was even on the market. Unfortunately, the sellers of that home weren’t open to accepting a contingent offer — meaning they wouldn’t wait for John and Becky’s home to sell before moving forward with another buyer.

That put some pressure on the timeline. If they wanted a chance at that dream home, we needed to get their house listed and under contract quickly.

So, we got to work — preparing, pricing, and marketing their home right away. It took a little time (and a lot of patience), but soon we received a strong offer and made it through the inspection contingency. That milestone gave John and Becky the green light to write on their dream home… and the best part? They got it!

It was a great reminder that while contingent offers can be tricky, with the right strategy, clear communication, and a little faith, things really can fall into place.
